Polish Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk confirmed that US-made Patriot air defense systems in Poland will not be sent to Ukraine, emphasizing that these systems are dedicated to protecting Polish skies. He suggested that Washington could source another Patriot system elsewhere. Jacek Siewiera of the Polish National Security Bureau also opposed the transfer, citing Poland’s key role in NATO defense. Despite Ukraine’s repeated requests for more air defense systems to counter Russian attacks, and reports that President Biden approved sending another Patriot system from Poland, the transfer will not occur.

Nobody knows how many of the more than 100 hostages kidnapped by terrorists on Oct. 7 are still alive, a senior Hamas official said.

Osama Hamdan was asked by CNN about the number of living hostages to which he replied, “I don’t have any idea about that… no one has an idea about this.”

During the interview, Hamdan blamed Israel for the mental state of the four hostages rescued during a special operation last weekend despite the fact that it was terrorists who kidnapped them and held them hostage for eight months.

The interview came as the tensions between Israel and Hezbollah in the north intensified with the terror group launching its largest attack on the north from Lebanon since Oct. 7.

Nimrod Goren, the senior fellow for Israeli Affairs at the Middle East Institute joined LiveNOW from FOX’s Josh Breslow to discuss the breaking details out of the Middle East.
