The Big Apple’s biggest book festival is taking over Brooklyn this weekend with its closing chapters: Festival Day and Children’s Day.
In this edition, this year’s festival kicked off on Sept. 22 and included bookend events across the borough, a virtual festival day, workshops, panels and more. Here’s what book-loving Brooklynites can look forward to this weekend:
Children’s Day
Children’s Day will take place at Brooklyn Commons at MetroTech on Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature workshops designed to spark kids’ creativity, including science experiments, crafting activities and games.
Festival Day and Literary Marketplace
The area around Brooklyn Borough Hall will transform into a hub of wisdom, knowledge, and literature on Sept. 29. The event will feature hundreds of local and international authors in over 50 panel discussions across eight stages, with author conversations taking place at various venues throughout Downtown Brooklyn.
