Why did the Brooklynite cross the road? To get to the new Chick-fil-A in Clinton Hill!
A new Chick-fil-A will open in the neighborhood on Nov. 14, marking the restaurant’s second location in Brooklyn.
Whether Brooklynites are looking for a quick bite, a hearty meal, or a way to support local heroes, the new Chick-fil-A in Clinton Hill is poised to become a community cornerstone, its owner said.
Brandon Hurst, a local owner-operator, is bringing his entrepreneurial spirit and community focus to the new Chick-fil-A in Clinton Hill after serving Brooklynites at the flagship location at Flatbush and Atlantic Avenues.
Hurst said he is prepared to meet the unique needs of the Clinton Hill community.
“I’m on a mission to serve others, not just with high-quality food at my restaurants, but also by making a genuine impact in the Brooklyn community,” he said in a statement.
Recognizing the vital role of more than 65,000 delivery workers in New York City, Hurst has announced plans for a groundbreaking collaboration with the New York City Department of Transportation. He plans to install a dedicated bike corral on Clinton Avenue, providing a streamlined experience for bike and moped delivery workers.
“I’m a Brooklyn resident, too, so I’m no stranger to the demands and challenges they face,” he said. “I am hopeful we’ll be able to unveil a premier bike corral to help ensure deliveries are smooth, efficient and safe at Chick-fil-A Clinton Hill.”
This initiative underscores Chick-fil-A’s commitment to supporting the delivery worker community, building on its successful “Brake Room” program launched in 2023, which provided a dedicated space for delivery personnel to rest and recharge.
In celebration of its new location, Chick-fil-A, Inc. donated $25,000 to Feeding America, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger in Brooklyn. The restaurant also plans to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redistributes surplus food to local shelters and food banks.
As part of its commitment to the local community, Chick-fil-A Clinton Hill will also honor 100 local heroes with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.
Located at 809 Atlantic Ave., the Clinton Hill restaurant will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, serving up Chick-fil-A staples, like the Original Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Deluxe Sandwich and Chick-fil-A Waffle Fries.
