Worshipers stampede at a temple in western India, killing 6 and injuring dozens


At least six people are dead and dozens injured after a stampede at a religious gathering in the western Indian state of Goa. The Press Trust of India news agency said the stampede broke out as thousands of devotees thronged narrow lanes leading to a temple in Shirgao village early Saturday.
