Tribeca Pediatrics is expanding its presence in Brooklyn with the opening of a new Bay Ridge office.
The Fort Hamilton practice — at home on the corner of 89th and Third Avenue, previously home to neighborhood favorite O’Sullivan’s — is inviting local families to a community meet-and-greet this weekend. From 3-5 p.m. on Sept. 30, attendees an tour the office, meet the staff, enjoy a face painting and coloring station for kids, and learn more about why Tribeca Pediatrics is lauded as the state’s best pediatrician.
Dr. Shereen Elmaghrabi will lead the new office. A Kings County resident and native New Yorker, Dr. Elmaghrabi is fluent in Arabic and brings a dedication to compassionate, dependable care to South Brooklyn.
“I’ve known I wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember, and very early on, I realized that pediatrics was where I belonged,” she said in a statement. “Kids are incredibly resilient, their smiles are infectious, and no two days are ever the same. It’s truly a privilege to support families through every stage, from those first newborn days to young adulthood.”

Founded in 1994 by Dr. Michel Cohen in his Tribeca home, Tribeca Pediatrics began with a mission to provide high-quality, low-intervention care to children in the community. Over three decades, it has grown into a network of neighborhood offices throughout the NYC metro area while continuing to offer the personalized care Dr. Cohen envisioned for his first patients.
Tribeca Pediatrics offers families access to top pediatricians in New York City for more than 30 years, state-of-the-art offices with 24/7 medical advice, and in-network coverage with most major insurance plans, including Managed Care Medicaid. The practice does not charge membership or concierge fees, has no waitlist for new patients, and provides easy registration, records transfer, and scheduling.
Families can take advantage of minimal wait times, same-day sick visits, weekend and evening hours, and virtual visits until 10 p.m., along with online scheduling, forms, and medical record access through a patient portal.
The new office is Tribeca Pediatrics’ second in Bay Ridge. For more information, visit tribecapediatrics.com.
