Brooklyn detectives are on the hunt for the suspect who shot a man dead in a cold-blooded street execution on Wednesday night.
Law enforcement sources say that cops from the 81st Precinct rushed to the intersection of Broadway and Lewis Avenue at about 9:15 p.m. on Aug. 12 after a 911 caller reported that a person had been shot.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified man with multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.
EMS rushed him to Kings Country Hospital, where he could not be saved and was pronounced dead. Although he remains unidentified, he is believed to be in his 40s.
Police did not have a description of a gunman or a motive, but say at least four rounds were fired by the perpetrator.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
