US President Biden on April 20 signed a legislation renewing a crucial US surveillance law amid debate over its misuse. The Senate voted 60-34 to extend the Section 702 program of the FISA for two years on April 19. Section 702 of the FISA allows to spy on non-Americans outside the country without a warrant to gather foreign intelligence. The surveillance tool was first authorised in 2008 and has been renewed several times since then. Watch the video to know more.
